MEET RAMONA

Ramona is best described as stylish with excellent drive and a sweetheart in the kennel.

She loves to please, is always on your heel in the kennel, and is the most social shorthair I have ever met. Around the kennel, she is very easygoing, but she flips the switch in the field and performs her job very well. She hunts at a medium range and can easily keep up with her on foot.

From the beginning, she had a very natural point and was very stylish and steady, even as a pup. We moved through fieldwork quickly, shooting birds over her in just a few sessions. Ramona went on to earn her Prize 1 110 in NAVHDA with very minimal training.

Her temperament makes it hard to beat a dual dog that can be a family pet or a hunter.

She loves retrieving land and water and has a very natural drive to retrieve. We taught her to dock dive in one day at the Dock pool and she started competing in dock diving events in 2022

She was imported from Romania out of Karpaten Ibris Kennels.
