SPYRO

Spyro was bred by us here at Nosam Kennels. Spyro showed natural talent and biddability early on. She loves to work, aims to please, and lives to retrieve. She is a natural swimmer and retriever. She will go after anything you send her for and bring it back to hand on land and water.

She has a great range for the foot hunter, and you can easily push her out if needed. She was already very steady at a young age, with no training holding until shot. She works well with other dogs in the field and backs naturally. She's always retrieved to hand with little to no pressure to do so, all skills that should take her to the next level quickly.

Earning her NAVHDA NA Prize 1 at just 7 months of age was a breeze. No surprise with her pedigree being loaded with NAVHDA Versatile Champions, Master Hunters, and even Dual Champions.

Spyro is a smaller liver roan female, around 45 lbs, and stands 22.5 inches tall within standard. She has a beautiful athletic build, great bone and muscle structure, and a gorgeous coat. Her temperament is unmatched. She's easygoing, relaxed when you need her to be, and ready to work as soon as you ask. She's so sweet and always happy. She has the softest temperament of all of our shorthairs, but don't let that fool you; she is very determined in the field.

 Not only is she loaded with raw talent and the desire to please it is hard to find a dog with both a desire to work, a natural drive, and an off switch. She passes her ease of trainability down to her puppies as we already see these traits in her first litter.
