Nosam Kennels produces German Shorthaired Pointer puppies for hunting, performance, and active family homes. Located in Central Kentucky, we raise versatile GSP puppies with an emphasis on health, stable temperament, natural ability, trainability, and correct breed structure. Our litters are carefully planned from health-tested, proven German Shorthaired Pointers selected to complement one another. Our dogs are evaluated through hunting, AKC Hunt Tests, NAVHDA, conformation, and performance to help us make informed breeding decisions and produce capable dogs for families across the United States.

We carefully plan every litter using health-tested, proven German Shorthaired Pointers with strong pedigrees, stable temperaments, correct structure, and natural hunting ability. We evaluate our breeding dogs through AKC Hunt Tests, NAVHDA, conformation, and other performance venues to preserve the versatility the GSP was bred for.

How Our GSP Puppies Are Raised

We raise our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies in our home using Puppy Culture protocols, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), and thoughtful, age-appropriate socialization to help build confident, well-rounded puppies. We thoughtfully match puppies to approved families based on temperament, drive, personality, and each family's goals and lifestyle. We also provide lifetime breeder support and regular updates, photos, and videos throughout the process.

 

How to reserve a GSP puppy

1. Our application is intended for families who have already spoken with us by phone or email and are ready to move forward if we both feel a Nosam puppy is a good fit.

2. After chatting with us to ensure the breed is a good fit and that we're the right breeder for you, submit our puppy application.

3. Place a deposit & sign our puppy contract.

4. Once we confirm a pairing and timeline, we will reach out to families on the list.
